Hi, it’s been a week.
This is Otorakobo.

This week, I brushed up on the characters, placed effects, and looked at the composition of the screen.

Transparent Clothes
I have a setting where the character’s clothes become transparent as it acquires color and grows, and I worked hard to incorporate this into the model expression.

Originally, the character’s body was set up with clothing reminiscent of a swimsuit, so putting a transparent outer garment on top of that makes it look a little echo-chic.

When it is not transparent

When transparent

It might be good to suppress the transparency a little more to make the viewer tingle.

Effects
Since the color expression of the attack effect was not yet implemented, I put a glowing object on the screen for the time being.

When the colors of the effects were reflected on the water surface, the screen became gorgeous at once. Urry…

As with the character, only the saturation was extracted and the colors were reflected in the effect.
Looking at the reflection, it may not be a bad idea to match the color expression of the character in terms of direction.

However, in this case, the problems are
(1) It may be difficult to distinguish what kind of technique is being used.
(2) The intensity of the colors may not be known.

These two issues are to be addressed.

Since (1) was going to take some time, I shelved it and tried a little approach regarding (2).

I added a bubble effect around the effect and made the bubble effect increase as the color intensity increases.

I made this with the hope that it would look like a bad attack is flying at first glance.
I’m going to discuss the direction with the staff a little bit.

I hope to gradually add cut-in expressions in the future.

But before that, I need to think about the ranking and replay area, so next week’s blog may be a bit more subdued….
In that case, please forgive me.

See you soon!
